This is really the wrong time of year for this since Day of the Dead is actually in October/November but I can’t wait that long to post these. You see this shoot was supposed to take place quite a while ago but due to circumstances beyond our control we had to post pone it. Well we finally got the chance to do it so here are few shots from this awesome shoot.

These are just a select few images from this fun shoot. I will post more later.

Fabulous Fall

Posted on November 14, 2012

The weather this season has been crazy for sure with temperatures from low to high and everywhere in between. One thing is for sure though, you can still get some great pictures!

I can not believe our oldest is a senior this year. Wow, where did the time go?? I can not believe how grown up Kristina is now. She has really grown into a beautiful young lady. You don’t have to take my word for it though, these images say it all.

More than just clients

Posted on November 13, 2012

One of the greatest things about being a photographer is that you get to meet a lot of wonderful people and develop (haha no pun intended) a special relationship with them. As you photograph different special occasions in their life your bond with them grows and soon they are so much more than just  your client.

That is exactly how I feel about the Dorman family. I’m so glad to have been a part of so many special moments in their lives and I hope to continue to be there for many more.

The Little Mermaid

Posted on October 5, 2012

If she isn’t just absolutely adorable then I don’t know what is. Ava is beyond precious in this little mermaid outfit. I’m proud to say that I actually made this mermaid outfit that she is modeling. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing her in it. 😉

Please be patient with me as I try to rework a few things. As of Friday it was just confirmed that my youngest son also has Autism. With that being said, having two young boys with Autism, one starting preschool, and both of them in therapies my time for photography is very limited. On top of all that my husband works six to seven days a week, so as I’m sure you can imagine we have a very busy schedule. I will continue to keep my business going to the best of my ability but please understand that my boys must be my first priority. Going forward I will only be taking a limited number of sessions and more than likely clients will need to book in advance to secure a session with me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and patience as I work through this.

Fabulous Frankie!

Posted on July 17, 2012

Check out this beauty! Not only is she beautiful but she’s also fun to work with. 🙂 I’m so glad I got to be the lucky one to photograph her senior pictures. I love photographing seniors, and having a great client and awesome location just makes it even more fun.

Cookie Sundaes

Posted on December 1, 2011

Over the holiday weekend I wanted to do something fun with the kids so we decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies. Then I got to thinking about those Monster Cookie sundaes at Cheddars that I love so much. With that we decided to make our own version of cookie sundaes.

I just scooped the cookie dough out with a standard ice cream scoop and then flattened the ball a little before baking. This worked perfectly to make large cookies for our sundaes. Then we all topped the cookies with vanilla ice cream and whatever toppings we preferred. Everyone got to make a sundae just the way they wanted it.

As you can see these sundaes were huge and most of the kids weren’t able to finish eating them all, but it was a lot of fun making them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted on November 25, 2011

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. I love all of the great food and spending quality time with family. It is also truly a great time to reflect on all of those things that you are thankful for. Since the passing of my Mother and Grandmother Thanksgiving has been a bittersweet time for me. I have so many fond memories of Thanksgivings past that were well spent with the both of them and I always miss them both very much. I so wish they could be here to see my children and to be a part of all of our lives. I have been through quite a bit in my life but every time I think of them I am also reminded of how fortunate I have been. I feel blessed to have what time I did with them even if I wish it had been longer. I am very blessed to have my own family now too.

Time is always so fleeting so take this time and a little time every day to think about all the blessings you have in your life. Everyone experiences pain and sadness at one time or another but there is also happiness. Take some time to realize how fortunate you really are. Enjoy your time with your family and make every moment count. Share old traditions with your children and make new ones as well. Life is a blessing and that is something we all have to be thankful for. Enjoy yours and share the joy with those you love.

I wanted to post a family portrait here but I have yet to get a new family portrait done. (Bad photograher!!) Anyway here is a snapshot of my handsome babies.  They don’t sit still very often so it’s hard to even catch a snapshot  but I still adore this one regardless.
